|
Ethiopia is increasing its production of ecologically pure Niger seed for oil extraction and bird feed. We export these seeds of 98.5 to 99% purity in large quantities.

Pea Beans Grade SC2
|
Our company is careful about the quality of Pea beans. After being cleaned through a machine, they undergo hand picking. This process finally reduces the impurity to 2 to 4%. We can also negotiate for quality beans of 99% purity.

Chickpeas
|
The two major varieties of chickpeas are Desi and Kabuli. They are cleaned by high tech cleaning machine and gravity separator machine to obtain acceptable standard of 0.5% impurity.

Red Kidney Beans
|
Red kidney beans are cleaned by high tech cleaning machine and gravity separator machine and handpicked to achieve the acceptable export standard of 1% foreign matter.

Spices and Others
|

In keeping with the specified export parameters of both the Ethiopian Standard Authority and the Byers, we also export a variety of spices such as:
- Turmeric Finger and whole,
- Coriander,
- Dry Ginger,
- Pepper,
- Black Cumin Seeds,
- White Cumin Seeds etc.
In general consignment, our oil seed and pulse exports are carefully cleaned, graded and calibrated according to the specifications and methods established by the Quality and Standard Authority of Ethiopia, as well as the requirements of our customers. We make sure they meet the quality requirements and provisions laid down by the plant quarantine bureaus of both the exporting and importing countries.

A Few Export Regulations |
|
The National Bank of Ethiopia controls and monitors the foreign currency within the country. It also controls and monitors the export of Ethiopian products. As export income is the main foreign currency generator for the country, we are required to operate within strict transaction terms and conditions.
In coffee export, the delivery term permitted is only FOB loading Port basis and payment is solely by irrevocable Letter of Credit at sight. These two main conditions are regulations that must be followed for any business deal and contractual agreement to purchase green coffee.
In order to encourage international customers to buy coffee, the National Bank of Ethiopia passed a new regulation involving payment terms. These can now be 100% CAD at sight for a contract with the total value of USD 200,000. Apart from coffee, all other products can be offered on C&F basis but still the payment term should be irrevocable Letter of Credit at sight.
